Sandra Pugh

 

Sandra Pugh is a Licensed Professional Counselor practicing from a Christian-based perspective. Sandra is passionate about helping women and young girls who struggle with self-esteem issues, depression, relationship challenges, due to traumatic life experiences such as domestic violence, sexual assault, and even those struggling with infertility issues. Sandra knows from her own personal experience that these struggles can impact one’s self-esteem and self-worth negatively if not addressed. 

Sandra has been providing impactful counseling services for a number of years throughout her career in Higher Education, community service involvement, and most recently in private practice. While working in the higher education arena, Sandra served in multiple key leadership roles, in Academic Advising, Greek organization advising, Campus Community Committees, and other areas of Student Services. In her role as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor with the State of Georgia Sandra served the disabled population for several years, providing professional counseling services. 

Moreover, Sandra has counseled and mentored young girls and women for most of her adult life through involvement with church and community organizations while residing in Michigan. Sandra has her own 501C3 Non-profit organization for girls and young women, providing mentoring, counseling, and educational services. 

Sandra has also worked with large national not for profit organizations such as the YWCA of Northwest Georgia, providing Professional Counseling and Mentoring for women who were victims of domestic violence and or sexual assault.

Sandra’s credentials included the following:

Sandra is a graduate of Siena Heights University, Eastern Michigan University, and Fort Valley State University. She has a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling, a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration, and a Bachelor of Science in Community Services. Sandra is credentialed as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), and a Certified Anger Management Specialist II (CAMS II).
